Dr.Gil:Industrial Food Chain

What are the benefits and risks of using the industrial food chain?
The benefits to the industrial food chain is that farmers are making a lot more food for a lot less. The farmers are raising cattle in places which are too small for them because there are over 3000 cattle in one place. But the risk is that most of the kids that eat the food made there are becoming obese. The text states"it is actually cheaper to eat high-calorie,fatty,processed foods than whole foods." This helps me understand that the food made in industrial food chains are actually cheaper which make people eat them because they don't cost as much money and when they eat them they eat all the chemicals that are used in making the food like the cows that are forced to eat corn even if it's a problem to their health and ours when we consume them.
