The industrail food chain was made to put out large amounts of food for the globe. Big corporations are a huge part of the industrail food chain. It's also a big waste to the environment. After WW2 they had a leftover chemical to use in the fertilizer which went into the soil and is in an ecosystem which causes global warming and acid rain , etc.
Industrail food chain had been around for about 50 years making food cheaper and faster. It's highly processed and low in nutrition and its chemically grown.
Industrail food chain has the longest time the food takes to get from seed to the actual plate. It's mainly GMOs that are highly unnatural. Most of the foods come from corn and beans. It causes a slow environmental destruction.
