Question:What are the risks and benefits of the industrial organic food chain?
Answer: industrial organic food is food that is grown just like regular industrial but without pesticides. Micheal pollan went to one of these "organic" factories and found out that the "rosie" chickens are being feed corn but not allowed outside until they are full sized. So to answer the question , risk of industrial organic food chains is that it burns alot of fossil fuels and the animals are not treated any different. Benefits of industrial organic, is that it doesn't use harmful chemicals( the plants develop there own chemicals called polyphenols) , its healthier than regular industrial food and it taste better.
