Dr. Naraidoo : hunter gatherer

I don't think it would be practical for people in the U.S. to go by the hunter gatherer food chain because people wouldn't want to go and get up to get their own food. As shown in the book "I needed not only hunting skills but gathering skills as well." To aquire the hunter gatherer food chain it's a skill to have. Many people in America wouldn't want to try to aquire that skill. Also shown in the book " And of course there's the whole poison thing. I have never once worried that a cucumber I grew from a seed would kill me if I ate it." Americans would rather get food and buy it than getting their own food. They would also look at it as a risk because they never know if the food is poisonous. I don't think the hunter gatherer food chain would be practical in America.
