when farmers use nitrogen rich soil to grow corn quickly they might ass well just destroy Earth.By maing nitrogen people are pollution the environment. The text states "Some of it evaporates into the air where it creates acid rain" Unless you are trying to die acid rain is not good. the text states "Some of it turns into nitrous oxide, a gas that increases global warming." We already have enough global warming as it is. Why nee more. Farmers are polluting the environment while trying to make planting their crops better.

ReplyDeleteYou make an interesting point when you say, "Unless you are trying to die..." I wonder how far farmers think about the consequences of their actions. Are they doing it just to make money, or are they realyl concerned about getting enough food out to the public.Thanks for sharing!
I agree with the point you make on the farmers not caring about the earth but rather if they make money or not because they are still using the nitrogen soil when they know it increases global warming
