I believe that the risks outweigh the benefits because the farmers of America are raising cattle with the food that they are not made to eat. This can also cause the people of America to become obese because of all the things that are put in the cattle. The text states "the feedlots are also breeding grounds for new and deadly bacteria. Some of these bacteria are finding their way into our food"(pg.49). This helps me understand that the cattle being raised are actually growing bacteria that can harm us when we consume it. The text also states"seventeen percent of kids age six through nineteen are obese"(pg.76). This helps me understand that the food being made is actually a harm to Americans who eat it because it causes them to be obese which means they have health problems because of what is in the food. So I believe that the risk outweighed the benefits because it causes a problem to our health.
You showed only the risks and not the benefits. The first evidence you used did not make much sense with your claim. I would suggest a different price of evidence
